2026 Theme Weekends

MAY

May 22 - 25: MEMORIAL WEEKEND CELEBRATION

Lots of activities for everyone, games, fun and laughter. 3:00pm Saturday come see the Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary live animal presentation at the East Park Stage. Join us Saturday evening for the Motor City Memories Band! Enjoy an evening of classic oldies from the 60s, 70s and 80s from this upbeat group! Then, Sunday at dusk, we will meet for the annual Memorial Weekend Candle Glow event at the Pond.

May 30: GIANT Game Weekend

Compete and play some of our GIANT games including Connect 4, Cannon Ball Drop, Chess, Checkers, Giant Twister and our Giant Battleship game.

JUNE

June 6: ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Welcome summer and visit with all our guests while enjoying FREE ICE CREAM and lots of delicious toppings.

June 13: 70's WEEKEND WITH ANTIQUE & HOT ROD CAR SHOW

Take a walk on the “wild” side this weekend. In other words, let’s visit the 70s, complete with a weekend full of themed activities. Think peace signs, tie-dying, and lots of bright colors. Bring your antique or hot rod car for all to enjoy at our CAR SHOW. Wear your best 70’s outfit or create your own tie-dyed creation during the weekend for fun.

June 20: CAMPERS YARD SALE AND FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

Sell your un-needed items and crafts and/or purchase some treasures for yourself. Create your own unique tie-dyed creations during the weekend for fun.

June 27: WET AND WILD WEEKEND

Join us for some of our favorite water games, like the Dunk Tank, Spin Soaker, Hydro Blaster, and Down Pour Derby. Also, participate in a large water gun battle (must bring your own water gun). Cardboard Boat Contest with nothing more than cardboard, duct tape and paint to construct your boat (must bring your own supplies). $50 prize for the best looking boat to paddle to our judge position in the lake. You MUST wear a Life Jacket to participate. Join us Saturday Evening at 7:00pm for live music from MOXI BAND, playing classic rock, pop, Motown and country on the East Park Stage!

JULY

July 3 - 6: INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Join us for a long weekend celebration of America’s Independence filled with our GRAND PARADE, a bike parade, games and lots of fun in the summer sun.

July 11: CHRISTMAS IN JULY, FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

This is our CHRISTmas celebration. Decorate your camper and site and Light Up For Christmas. We’ve been promised an early visit from the North Pole by a Jolly Old Fellow in a red suit. Prize for the best decorated campsite.

July 18: COUNTRY WESTERN WEEKEND

Break out your cowboy boots and 10-gallon hat and join us for our Country Western Weekend filled with fun activities such as Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Bounce Horse Races, wear your best country western attire to get into the theme of our weekend. Try your hand at roping a steer in our Lasso-ing Challenge.

July 25: INFLATABLE FUN WEEKEND

We will be setting up many of our INFLATABLES such as the GIANT WATER SLIDE, JOUST ARENA, BOUNCE HOUSE, GIANT OBSTACLE COURSE, INFLATABLE SLIP-N-SLIDE and more, for your enjoyment. Elvis Tribute Artist, JAKE SLATER will perform on the East Park Stage at 7:00pm. Featuring Elvis’ 50s, 60s and 70s era music.

AUGUST

August 1: EXPO WEEKEND

Join us in the Recreation Hall for a shopping day with vendors such as Avon, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, just to name a few. (Interested in marketing a product or service in our event, contact Kathy in our office for more information.) Saturday evening come and show your talents at SNOW LAKE KAMPGROUND’S GOT TALENT where there is a $100 – 1st place prize for the adult winner and $50 for the 15 year old and younger winner. Practice up to show your talent on the stage in East Park. We need 4 volunteers for impartial judges.

August 8: CHILDRENS CARNIVAL WEEKEND

Kids, play your favorite Carnival-style games for prizes. Enjoy FREE snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy.

August 15: GAME SHOW WEEKEND

This weekend is sure to be fun for everyone involved, when some of your favorite TV game shows “come to life” at the campground. Both individuals and families will have an opportunity to “compete” in games they often see on TV. It is sure to be fun for those who are contestants in the games and our “live” studio audience.

August 22: RACE WEEKEND

This weekend we’re speeding up to the finish line! Join us for GOLD FISH RACES, MECHANICAL PIG RACES, PEDAL CAR RACES and CO2 CAR RACES. There is a purchase fee for the CO2 car kits (snap together-style or carve your car) and more.

SEPTEMBER

September 4 - 7: LABOR DAY CELEBRATION

Join us for a fun-filled weekend of FUN, GAMES, COMPETITIONS, and the evening BLINKY-GLOW Parade.

September 19: HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEKEND

Trick or Treating for Kids (costume optional) then later brave the HAUNTED HOUSE for fun and excitement. Decorate your camper with Scary Haunting decorations! Prize for the best decorated campsite! We will also be taking tractor pulled PUMPKIN COACH RIDES for the whole famiy.

Most activities are included for registered guests and don’t require advance registration. If an activity needs special supplies or has a fee, we’ll share details at check-in or in campground announcements.

Are these weekends family-friendly?

How far in advance should I book holiday weekends?

Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) fill up quickly. Booking early is the best way to get the dates and site type you want.
